The final draft of the Territory’s Updated Hazard Mitigation Plan is available
online and VITEMA is encouraging concerned citizens to review the document and provide their feedback.
The Virgin Islands Territorial Emergency Management Agency (VITEMA) is updating its State Hazard Mitigation Plan to identify activities that can be undertaken by both the government and the private sector to reduce property damage caused by hurricanes, floods and earthquakes.
