At about 1:30 p.m. today, the Department of Education reported that a large number of students and faculty and staff at the St. Croix Central High School have reported ill from a foul odor permeating the air.
The Department of Health is urging residents, especially those with compromised immune systems, to stay indoors as much as possible, to close windows and use a fan, to keep medications nearby and to seek medical care if they feel ill as a result of the strong odor.
